Everybody wishes they had more time to do things.  Trying to run a website while working another job or business,  is no exception.  Even those of you that run a blog or work from home full-time can feel the same way.   There aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything done that you would like.

That is why time management is a crucial to becoming successful.  It is an essential skill that every entrepreneur needs to have in order to make money.

Many of us try to do 100 things at once and end up getting nothing done instead of focusing on a few tasks and getting them completed.

Stop Wasting Time

Working from home can be great, but it can also become your biggest distraction.  Watching TV, talking on the phone, surfing the internet, etc., the list goes on.  I found that making a to-do list or a list of goals I want to accomplish for the day, makes a tremendous difference in the amount of work I get done.

Many people don’t don’t do this, but its simple.  Every night just write up a small list of things  you want to complete for the next day.  IF you do this every day around the same time, after a few weeks it becomes part of your routine.

Narrow Your List Down

Narrow your list down to the most important things first.  Decide, which tasks will make you the most money, or which will get me the best results and concentrate on them.

As a business owner, you are responsible for every aspect of your business.  Marketing, Sales, Content, Packaging, Design, etc, depending on what kind of business you have.  If you want to make money online, you need to schedule or dedicate some time to each phase of your business and focus on it.

Complete the hardest ones first.

Take a break after completing each tasks as a reward.

Spend time on personal phone calls

Surf the net all day

If you do this every day, you will gain a good habit and find yourself being more productive, which will turn into making more money with your blog.
